Stacey Mania is a painter whose work features bold color and line. Stacey is known for portraits and figurative paintings of “Guys in Ties,” her friends, musicians, famous artists, celebrities, news anchors, athletes, and politicians. Well-known local subjects have attended her art openings and signed paintings of their likenesses. Stacy also enjoys painting animals, beach sunsets, florals, and reproductions of famous paintings.
Stacey’s work has been exhibited at the Buffalo History Museum, the Burchfield Penney Art Center, and ArtSpace Buffalo where a large number of her portraits were showcased in “The Women of Arts Work.” In 2015 Stacey was the subject of a feature article in “People First” (OPWDD Newsletter). In 2019, Stacey was chosen for the exhibition “Spectrum Language” at the Christine Frechard Gallery in Pittsburgh PA.
